Today’s Mosuki upgrade contains some nifty new features. First, we’ve added a way to quickly add events to your calendar from the event list page — just click the + next to the event, and it will get automatically added. The event list also shows which of your friends are going to the event.
We’ve introduced “Published events”, for people who want to promote public events — just select “publish to the world” when setting the sharing on your event, and it will be immediately visible to everybody on Mosuki. You can see all the published events on the event list — just click on the “Published events” tab. There’s not much there yet — but that’s because you haven’t put any events there yet. Search engines will find published events, and you can submit them to Digg too.
And we want to announce a feature that was rolled out for the Digg party last week: Now you can put an image in a description on any event, place, or profile, and in any message or forum post. Just paste in the URL — we’ll automagically identify it as a image URL and put the image right there on the page. You can see examples on my profile and on the old Croquet in the Park event. This is just one of the cool new features of the wiki parser.
Oh, and Internet Explorer users should notice a marked improvement in site layout.
Enjoy!
